Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, CA, seeks an HR Recruiter to manage full cycle recruitment for clinical and allied health roles. You will collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and implement strategies to lower vacancy costs.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of hospital recruiting experience and strong skills in candidate assessment, communication, and ATS/MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years recruiting experience in a mid-sized hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience recruiting for non-exempt and exempt level positions.
• BA/BS degree in human resources, business, communications or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle recruitment—from creation to hire—for clinical and allied health roles.
• Collaborate with management to determine staffing needs and address vacancies.
• Implement recruitment and retention strategies aligned with the hospital's strategic plan to reduce vacancy costs and agency fees.
• Reduce vacancy and avoid interim labor costs/agency fees.

Job Summary

The HR Recruiter is responsible in performing full cycle recruitment (from creation to hire) primarily for all clinical and allied health positions; collaborating with management to determine and address staffing needs; implementing recruitment and retention strategies in coordination with the hospital’s strategic plan that successfully reduces vacancy and avoids interim labor costs/agency fees.
