Top Texas Law Firm is currently seeking a career-driven Legal Recruiter to join our high-performing recruiting team!
The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of full-cycle professional recruiting experience, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field. Candidates with experience managing Summer Associate Programs, law school recruiting, On-Campus Interview (OCI) processes, recruiting events, and legal talent pipelines are strongly encouraged to apply.
Reporting directly to the Recruiting Manager, the Legal Recruiter will play a key role in driving the recruitment of attorneys across the state, while also supporting the firm’s law school and early-career recruiting initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive, relationship-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys traveling, and excels at building meaningful partnerships with candidates, law schools, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with the recruiting team to develop and execute recruiting strategies, utilize creative and assertive sourcing techniques, build strong candidate pipelines, and strengthen the Thomas J. Henry brand within the legal recruiting community.
Essential Job Functions
- Recruitment, sourcing, and screening of attorneys with varying experience and career levels for various office locations throughout Texas.
- Support the recruitment of law students and emerging legal talent through Summer Associate Programs, law school recruiting, OCI programs, career fairs, networking events, and other campus initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law schools, career services departments, student organizations, professors, and other legal recruiting partners.
- Facilitate and manage multiple aspects of the recruitment process, including recruiting strategy, sourcing, and screening of attorneys.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify qualified attorneys and legal talent through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, direct sourcing, and other recruiting channels.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified attorney candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Build strong relationships with candidates and provide a professional, responsive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide accurate, timely, and detailed recruiting reports and updates to Recruiting Management.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation within the firm’s recruiting systems.
- Assess recruiting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, candidate experience, sourcing strategies, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
- Represent Thomas J. Henry Injury Attorneys professionally at law school programs, recruiting events, career fairs, networking events, and other external engagements.
- Travel throughout Texas and as needed, to other locations for recruiting events, law school programs, interviews, and other business-related activities.
- Help promote and strengthen the Thomas J. Henry employer brand within the legal community.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling candidate, employee, and firm information.

- Understands the importance of delivering an exceptional candidate experience and protecting the firm’s reputation throughout the recruiting process.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Experience with legal recruiting or professional-level recruiting
- Experience recruiting attorneys at varying levels of experienceExperience managing or supporting Summer Associate Programs
- Experience with law school recruiting and OCI processes
- Experience coordinating and attending law school recruiting events, career fairs, networking events, and student organization programs
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with law schools and career services departments
- Knowledge of all phases of full-cycle recruiting
- Experience recruiting for a broad range of professional or complex positions
- Experience using Salesforce or other applicant tracking/recruiting systems
- Experience recruiting within a law firm or legal environment is a plus
