Job summary

Victors Home Solutions in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team. This full-time role focuses on building a strong talent pipeline and guiding candidates through the recruiting process from screening to onboarding.

You will work closely with hiring managers, manage multiple openings, and ensure a positive candidate experience while utilizing our ATS (Pinpoint a plus) to track progress and updates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required; experience with Pinpoint is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs.
• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking and other channels.
• Review resumes to identify candidates who meet position requirements.
• Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate information within the ATS.

Recruiters at Victors Home Solutions play a critical role in building the teams that drive our continued growth. This position requires strong communication skills, a high sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, attract, screen, and hire top talent across the organization.

Here are some examples of the actual work your day may include:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs
• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels
• Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position requirements
• Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process and provide a positive candidate experience
• Manage multiple open positions and candidate pipelines simultaneously
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to keep the recruiting process moving forward
• Assist with offer preparation, background checks, and pre-employment requirements
• Collaborate with leadership and HR to ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection through onboarding
• Monitor recruiting activity and provide updates on open positions, interviews, offers, and hiring progress
• Help identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and time-to-fill
• Represent Victors Home Solutions and our brands professionally and enthusiastically throughout the hiring process

About you:

• Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required; experience with Pinpoint is a strong plus
• Comfortable navigating an ATS daily to manage job postings, candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and recruiting activity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously
• High sense of urgency and strong follow-through
• Confident conducting phone screens and interviews
• Comfortable communicating with candidates at all levels
• Ability to build relationships and create a positive candidate experience
