Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix seeks a Recruiter who can lead full-cycle recruitment across GCNA and affiliates. This on-site role requires candidate assessment, coaching hiring managers, and building robust talent pipelines to meet high-volume hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages assessment tools to facilitate goal achievement.
• Contributes to recruiting strategies and campaigns across GCNA and affiliates.
• Meet monthly recruiting goals in a high-volume environment.
• Drives workforce planning with leaders to ensure forecasting and budgeting.
• Develops communications to promote Goodwill opportunities.
• Establishes trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers.
• May recruit for Retail Management positions across Central and Northern Arizona.
• Identifies, qualifies and presents candidates to business leaders.

• Conducts candidate negotiations and reference checks.
• Advises managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Position Description

On-site (5 days/week in office)

Provides candidate selection, hiring manager coaching, interviewing techniques and talent assessment across Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Uses and interprets assessment tools, as well as driving workforce planning within client groups. Partners with other Team Members in Pipeline Development, Sourcing and Recruiting Operations to deliver on hiring needs across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages assessment tools in order to facilitate goal achievement.
• Contributes in a measurable way to the development of corporate-wide recruiting strategies and campaigns, the innovation and continuous improvement of corporate-wide recruiting practices, and makes recommendations regarding policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet monthly recruiting goals in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Drives workforce planning with leaders across the organization in a formal and informal process to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Develops internal and external communications and communities to promote Goodwill opportunities.
• Establishes and maintains "trusted advisor" relationships with hiring managers and client groups that are collaborative in nature.
• May recruit primarily for Retail Management positions for our stores across Central and Northern Arizona, which may include high volume class-style hiring.
• Identifies, qualifies and presents candidates to business leaders.
• Interfaces with applicants, candidates, and external sources to develop robust talent pipelines for ongoing hiring needs.
• Responds to employment inquiries from potential candidates.
• Conducts candidate negotiations and reference checks on final candidates.
• Advises managers and Team Members on staffing policies and procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge of EEO, Aff..
• Partners with Recruiting Team Members to continuously innovate and improve on Goodwill's hiring practices.
• Partners with Workforce Development in the achievement of Goodwill's mission.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university or college, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience.
• 2+ years' experience in workforce planning preferred.
• Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS) or Social Talent certification preferred but not required.
• LinkedIn Open Networker (LION) designation.
• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) knowledge required.
• Must be highly proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including electronic media and e-mail.
• Self-starter with a track record of effectively managing multiple searches and projects simultaneously.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in groups and in partnership with others.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate high level of professionalism and confidentiality as well as be able to relate comfortably to people in all levels of the organization.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
