Viracon LLC is seeking a Recruiter to support our Architectural Glass business from Owatonna, MN. This full-time onsite role covers all aspects of recruiting for production hourly positions and internships across sites, partnering with hiring managers and HR to implement effective talent strategies.

Responsibilities include source, screen, and hire; run college recruitment programs; and use Workday Recruiting to track progress while ensuring a positive candidate experience and data-driven

Qualifications

• Experience with full lifecycle recruiting including planning, sourcing, screening, selecting, and hiring.
• Exposure to manufacturing recruitment and onsite roles.
• Knowledge of OFCCP recruiting practices and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR partners to develop recruiting strategies.
• Source and screen candidates using diverse channels including referrals and cold-calling.
• Manage the college recruitment program and internships.

Position Summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc (APOG, a public company) is looking for a Recruiter to support our Architectural Glass business segment. As a Recruiter, you will be a key contributor to the business by partnering closely with hiring managers and HR partners to develop comprehensive recruiting strategies that enhance our ability to attract and secure top talent. The incumbent will drive all aspects of full lifecycle recruiting including planning, sourcing, screening, selecting, and hiring. This role will primarily support production hourly recruitment for our Owatonna, MN and Manchester, NH sites as well as flex to support others as needed.

This role is based in Owatonna, Minnesota, and is expected to work onsite full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and ideal candidate profiles
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies using diverse techniques and channels including online sourcing databases, employee referrals, cold-calling, professional organizations and associations
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and advise them on the talent landscape and recruiting strategies
• Develop strong external networks and bring new strategies and out of the box thinking to source and secure top talent
• Keep current on external market factors as well as new best practices and trends in recruiting
• Assist with leading the college recruitment program for the Architectural Glass segment, including registering for and attending career fairs, interviewing candidates, and planning the summer internship program
• Effectively utilize our ATS (Workday Recruiting) to track and manage the recruiting process
• Follow current processes but also recognize opportunities for greater efficiencies and better practices
• Establish routines to ensure ongoing communication with hiring managers and other internal partners
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process
• Report on key sourcing and recruiting metrics and leverage the data and analytics to inform future recruiting strategies
• Champion our diversity & inclusion strategy and initiatives
• Help manage relationships with external search firms/agencies when applicable

General HR support as needed

Experience & Skills

Education

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field OR 2+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing industry

Experience

• Prior agency/third party recruitment experience (preferred)

Required Skills

• Proficiency with ATS and other related platforms (Workday, Indeed, and LinkedIn Recruiter highly preferred)
• Strong business and recruiter acumen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practice, and procedures, including legal and OFCCP recruiting and networking skills
• Proven ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong relationship building and networking skills
• Demonstrated ability to interact with candidates and managers at all levels

Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)

Salary Range : $55k-$75k
