Job summary

Nebraska First Staffing invites a skilled Long-Term Care/Nurse Recruiter to join our client-focused team in Omaha, NE. The role targets building relationships with healthcare professionals and aligning candidates with long-term care assignments.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to placement, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing candidate engagement. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare recruiting, strong communication, and proven ability to manage multiple

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing the recruiting process from sourcing through placement.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms.
• Ability to work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Recruit nurses and long-term care professionals (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Source candidates through internal database, job boards, referrals, social media, and direct outreach.
• Interview candidates and assess their experience, qualifications, and assignment preferences.
• Coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, offers, and start dates.
• Work with credentialing and onboarding teams to prepare candidates for assignments.
• Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals throughout assignments.
• Keep accurate candidate records and build a pipeline of qualified talent.

Experienced Long-Term Care / Nurse Recruiter

Location: Omaha, NE | Onsite
Base Salary and Commission: $50,000, increasing to $60,000 plus after reaching 6–8 TOA

Nebraska First Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Recruiter or Nurse Recruiter. This opportunity is ideal for someone with at least three years of healthcare recruiting experience who enjoys building relationships and connecting healthcare professionals with the right assignments.

What You’ll Do

• Recruit nurses and long-term care professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000 starting base salary, increasing to $60,000 after reaching 6–8 TOA
• Full benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross.
