Job summary

Skillwork is seeking a motivated recruitment professional to connect skilled trades workers with top opportunities. You will own the full hiring cycle from sourcing to placement, building strong relationships with candidates and account managers.

The role focuses on sourcing through job boards and networks, screening, interviewing, and coaching candidates for client interviews. If you thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments and enjoy building pipelines, this is your team.

• Recruiting experience, staffing agency background a big plus
• Comfortable running full hiring cycle: source, screen, interview
• Range across interview formats from phone to video
• An eye for matching skills to roles
• ATS know-how
• Communication skills that build trust fast
• The organizational talent to juggle multiple searches at once

Responsibilities

• Recruit skilled trades talent; you're the liaison between great workers and great opportunities
• Screen resumes and applications to find the standouts
• Interview candidates and collaborate with Account Managers to determine next steps for candidates
• Keep candidates in the loop with regular updates on hiring progress
• Coach candidates so they walk into client interviews ready to shine
• Build talent pipelines so you're never starting from zero
• Track candidate history from resumes to assignments to evaluations
• Utilize job boards to source candidates
• Stay connected with Skillworkers already out in the field
