Proman Staffing Perm LLC is seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to identify, qualify, and place skilled trades candidates at customer construction sites. The role combines recruiting, screening, and day-to-day support for branch leadership with a focus on compliance and client satisfaction.

You will manage sourcing, pre-employment checks, and Avionte ATS data accuracy, coordinating with managers to schedule assignments and maintain strong relationships with trade contacts across projects.

Formación

• Experience in skilled trades positions.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Bilingual Spanish and English may be required.
• Ability to travel to other branch offices or customer sites.
• Experience in a customer service environment.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, qualify, and place skilled trades candidates at customer construction sites.
• Provide customer service and support to applicants.
• Implement cost-effective recruitment functions and process referrals; maintain contact with inactive field employees.
• Maintain an active network of trade contacts to source candidates.
• Source and recruit candidates for specific openings and develop recruitment strategies.
• Participate in networking opportunities with construction associations.
• Conduct pre-employment screening and reference checks as needed.
• Communicate skills required and job expectations for each placement.
• Review candidates’ experience and training to assess on-the-job performance.
• Assign employees to customer sites based on skills and job requirements in Avionte.
• Ensure assignment information is accurate in Avionte at all times.
• Manage employee information in the system to keep it current.
• Counsel, coach, and discipline service employees as needed.
• Collaborate with team to provide staffing coverage and minimize overtime.
• Help update procedures, policies, and forms to support improvement.
• Cross-train with other areas to provide backup as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

The Skilled Trades Recruiter identifies, qualified, and places skilled trades candidates at customer construction sites. This role combines recruiting and screening with day-to-day support for branch leadership, with a focus on compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support to applicants.
• Implement cost-effective recruitment functions, process field employee and customer referrals, and maintain weekly contact with inactive field employees.
• Maintain an active network of trade contacts to help source qualified candidates.
• Source and recruit potential candidates for specific job openings.
• Develop a recruiting strategy and implement it through various recruiting media and associations.
• Participate in networking opportunities with construction associations.
• Conduct pre-employment screening and reference checks as needed.
• Communicate the skills required and job expectations for each placement.
• Review candidates’ experience and training to make informed decisions about safe and effective on-the-job performance.
• Process customer orders by assigning employees to customer sites based on skills and job requirements.
• Ensure assignment information is accurate and complete in Avionte at all times.
• Manage and continually assess employee information in the system to keep it current and accurate.
• Counsel, coach, and take disciplinary action with service employees when necessary.
• Participate in a team-oriented working environment and encourage collaboration.
• Coordinate with peers and managers to provide staffing coverage and minimize overtime within the branch office.
• Assist in developing updates to procedures, policies, and forms that support continuous improvement.
• Cross-train with other functional areas to provide backup as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in skilled trades positions.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.
• Strong team player with respect and appreciation for diversity.

• Familiarity with or experience in the construction field, including multiple trades knowledge required.
