Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training, and onboarding of quality candidates. Travel to multiple centers, fairs, and events will be required to build a strong candidate network.

You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to implement recruiting strategies, source candidates through diverse channels, and manage applications through the ATS. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple openings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience in interviewing and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
