Job summary

NORCAL Ambulance in Livermore seeks a recruiter to manage full cycle recruiting, from sourcing to closing, and to partner with hiring managers to define needs.

You will review resumes, schedule interviews, post jobs, onboard new hires, and provide weekly status updates while representing the company values.

Requirements include 3 years of recruiting experience, a high school diploma (GED), a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, engaging, interviewing, qualifying, and closing candidates.
• Act as a business partner to hiring managers by understanding hiring needs and goals, and by building compelling job profiles.
• Coordinate onboarding, review resumes, schedule interviews, and provide weekly updates on open positions.
• Post jobs on approved job boards and ensure job descriptions are current.
• Own candidate relationships and work with external recruiters when needed.

• Manage full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, engaging, interviewing, qualifying, and closing candidates.
• Act as a business partner to hiring managers by understanding hiring needs and goals inside out, by building compelling job profiles, and by sharing actionable feedback and best practices.
• Regular review, restructuring, and monitoring of the onboarding process based on business needs
• Review resumes, schedule, and perform initial phone conversations with candidates
• Schedule interviews with Hiring Managers/Area Supervisors and follow up on results
• Post jobs on approved internal and external job boards
• Review and ensure job descriptions are current for posting
• Prepare weekly updates on open positions
• Preparation of offer letters and tracking of status or returned documentation
• Own the candidate relationship by keeping the candidate engaged and informed throughout the recruiting process.
• Work seamlessly with external recruiters and agencies when needed.
• Represent NORCAL Ambulance's mission statement and core values to candidates with authenticity and professionalism.
• Provide results in a metric-driven environment.
• Other administrative duties as required
