Job description

Location: Remote (FL, IN) with occasional in-person events

Hours: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week, flexible)

Compensation: $20 per hour base + uncapped commission

Type: 1099 Contractor / Freelance

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Source, screen, and assess candidates for a variety of industries (GovCon, small business, lower middle market)
  • Evaluate fit using behavioral profiling tools and hiring analytics
  • Manage candidate pipelines via CRM and ATS
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience and streamline the hiring process

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new client opportunities
  • Communicate Intrepid Prosperity’s value proposition to founders, operating partners, and proposal leads
  • Execute outreach and follow-up campaigns using CRM systems
  • Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies for new clients

Account & Relationship Management

  • Own and maintain a book of business, with repeat or project-based client needs
  • Participate in in-person networking events, meetups, or industry mixers where relevant
  • Build long-term relationships with both clients and candidates

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Self-starter who is accountable and comfortable making independent decisions
  • Persuasive communicator who can engage cold leads and convert them into long-term relationships
  • Proficient with digital platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, CRM/ATS systems, and AI tools)
  • Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented; seeks impact, not just a paycheck
  • Values relationship-building and follows through on commitments

Light Performance Metrics (Guiding Expectations)

  • Consistent pipeline generation for both candidates and clients
  • Engagement and conversion rates for outreach efforts
  • Placement success and client satisfaction
  • CRM and ATS data quality and timeliness
  • Participation in events and sourcing activities aligned with our customer base

Preferred Qualifications

  • Located near Bloomington / Indianapolis IN, or Tampa FL, and able to attend in-person events occasionally
  • Existing warm network in small business, GovCon, or PE-backed sectors
  • Experience recruiting
