The Kitchen Food Company is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to source, screen, and hire candidates for production, QA, logistics, and support functions in a ready meal facility. You will partner with operations and HR to meet staffing needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include posting ads, screening resumes, interviews, onboarding, and coordinating with local workforce agencies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in food manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
• Familiarity with food industry roles and regulatory requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA, GMP).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract talent for hourly and salaried roles in production, sanitation, quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
• Post job ads, manage applicant tracking systems, and screen resumes.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes including reference checks and onboarding.
• Attend job fairs and build relationships with local workforce development agencies.
• Maintain compliance with EEOC, AAP, and company hiring policies.
• Track and report recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
• Support seasonal and high-volume hiring campaigns.
• Promote employer brand and employee value proposition in all recruitment efforts.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation programs for new recruits.

About the role

What you'll do

• Ensure operations are according to our food safety policies and processes including our HACCP and GMP programs
• Ensure control of any food safety risks
• Work alongside site Technical to investigate any unexpected occurrence to learn from and improve our systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

Work Environment and Availability

• Office-based with regular interaction in production areas (production floor exposure, PPE requirements)
• Willingness to work flexible hours or support multiple shifts if required
• May require occasional travel for recruitment or training
