Job description

The Recruiter leads full-cycle recruiting for Skyeton’s growing U.S. organization, with primary support for the Fayetteville manufacturing operation and additional technical, engineering, corporate, and flight-operations hiring as assigned. This position partners with hiring leaders to define talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, evaluate candidates, coordinate an efficient selection process, and deliver a professional candidate experience.

Success requires proactive sourcing, strong judgment, timely follow-through, accurate recruiting records, and the ability to attract talent in competitive aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and engineering markets. The Recruiter serves as a credible ambassador for Skyeton and helps ensure each hire has the qualifications, reliability, and cultural alignment needed to support the mission.

What you'll do
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, quality, supply chain, program management, flight operations, and corporate positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, required competencies, staffing priorities, interview teams, selection criteria, and target hiring timelines
  • Create and maintain accurate job descriptions and job postings that reflect position requirements, Skyeton’s culture, and applicable employment and export-control language
  • Develop position-specific sourcing strategies using applicant-tracking systems, professional networks, job boards, social media, colleges, trade schools, military-transition programs, career fairs, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill aerospace, defense, engineering, manufacturing, and leadership roles
  • Review applications and resumes, conduct structured phone interviews, evaluate technical and cultural alignment, and provide clear recommendations to hiring managers
  • Assess candidates consistently against role qualifications and Skyeton’s six cultural pillars while maintaining fair, job-related, and well-documented selection practices
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate travel when applicable, hiring-team schedules, feedback collection, and timely candidate communications throughout the process
  • Prepare interview guides, candidate summaries, compensation information, offer recommendations, and other recruiting materials for hiring leaders
  • Conduct compensation research and collaborate with HR and leadership to develop competitive, internally consistent offers within approved parameters
  • Extend verbal and written offers, manage negotiations within authorized limits, and maintain candidate engagement through acceptance and start date
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including references, background checks, drug screens, employment eligibility documentation, and other position-specific conditions
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to support a smooth transition from candidate acceptance through onboarding and first-day readiness
  • Maintain complete and accurate candidate dispositions, interview documentation, requisition activity, offer data, and recruiting records in the applicant-tracking system
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, including applicant flow, source effectiveness, time to fill, aging requisitions, offer acceptance, hiring progress, and recruiting risks
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated hiring needs and support workforce planning for organizational growth and new facilities
  • Represent Skyeton at recruiting events, career fairs, community partnerships, military-transition events, colleges, universities, and technical training programs
  • Strengthen Skyeton’s employer brand through accurate, engaging recruiting communications and consistent representation of the employee value proposition
  • Support recruiting compliance, including EEO, affirmative action, OFCCP-related recordkeeping, applicant disposition, pay transparency, I-9, E-Verify, and applicable federal and state requirements
  • Coordinate appropriately with HR, Security, and authorized leaders regarding U.S.-person, ITAR/EAR, clearance, confidentiality, and controlled-information requirements
  • Protect confidential candidate, compensation, employee, customer, and business information and use sound judgment when communicating sensitive matters
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, hiring-manager service, reporting, and talent-pipeline quality
  • Support other talent-acquisition and HR projects and perform other duties as assigned
