Sift Stack, Inc. is seeking a motivated Recruiter to lead sourcing and recruiting efforts for critical roles across technical and go-to-market functions. This position offers the chance to contribute to a high-performing team and innovate recruitment processes while working closely with leaders across the organization.

Sift was born from our work at SpaceX on Dragon, Falcon, Starlink, and Starship—where scaling telemetry, debugging flight software, and ensuring mission reliability demanded new infrastructure. Founded by a SpaceX, Google, and Palantir team, Sift is built for mission-critical systems where precision and scalability are non-negotiable.
As our second Recruiter at Sift, you’ll play a foundational role in scaling our high-performing team. You’ll be the driving force behind sourcing, engaging, and closing exceptional talent across technical and go-to-market functions—ensuring we hire the right people, faster.
You’ll work closely with every part of the organization—from engineers and product leads to sales and executive leadership—to deliver a candidate experience that reflects our high standards and mission-driven culture. With guidance from your manager, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for 5–8 roles at any given time, and help implement scalable processes to elevate our recruiting operations.
This is an opportunity to develop deep expertise in startup recruiting, gain exposure to every function of a growing company, and shape the systems that power Sift’s next phase of growth. You'll report to and work closely with our Head of Talent to collaborate with leaders across the company to define what great looks like at Sift.
Own the end-to-end recruiting process for priority roles—intake, sourcing, screening, coordination, offers, and closing.
Build high-quality outbound pipelines using LinkedIn, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, design interview processes, and align on candidate feedback.
Drive cross-functional projects to improve recruiting operations—outreach messaging, reporting, coordination, and systems.
Support initiatives in employer branding and candidate experience to make Sift a top destination for top talent.
Serve as a strategic partner across the company, helping scale a thoughtful and high-impact hiring culture.
2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in tech and high-growth environments, plus 1+ year as a Recruiting Coordinator or an equivalent coordination role.
Demonstrated success recruiting across functions—especially engineering, product development, and go-to-market.
Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., ATS like Ashby, Lever, or Greenhouse; LinkedIn Recruiter; sourcing and scheduling tools; AI tools).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write crisp outreach and facilitate thoughtful candidate conversations.
Operational excellence—organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in scheduling, coordination, and recruiting metrics.
A proactive, low-ego teammate who leads with empathy, urgency, and a candidate-first mindset.
Experience recruiting at a startup or in an environment with a strong recruiting culture.
Experience hiring for SaaS software engineering and SaaS sales roles.
Experience hiring across aerospace, defense, industrial systems, aviation, energy, transportation, autonomous vehicles, or enterprise data software industries.
Experience hiring onsite talent in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Passion for storytelling and employer branding.

A recruiting generalist with the ability to balance sourcing excellence with process improvement and stakeholder management.
Our team is based in El Segundo, CA. This role will be required to be onsite on Mondays and Thursdays and any other day of the week we are hosting candidates onsite. We’re open to relocating the right candidate to LA.
Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000 per year. Plus equity and benefits.
