Job summary

Garman Partners is seeking a motivated Recruiter to connect top talent with exciting opportunities in the Auto, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) industry. This on-site Des Moines, Iowa role emphasizes sourcing, outreach, and building relationships with exceptional candidates across multiple roles.

You will manage candidate pipelines, conduct screenings and interviews, and ensure a positive candidate experience while collaborating with our team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience (minimum).
• Experience in Construction, Engineering, or Automation is valued.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in sourcing, engaging, and building relationships with exceptional candidates across a variety of roles - especially in the specialized Auto, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) industry.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate Sourcing: Use innovative sourcing techniques to attract top-tier talent via job boards, social media, referrals, professional networks, and internal databases
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of passive candidates through strategic outreach, including cold calls and targeted email campaigns
• Screening & Interviewing: Assess candidate qualifications through in-depth screening and interviews to ensure alignment with client needs
• Candidate Experience: Foster strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive, professional, and seamless recruitment experience from start to finish
