Job summary

ESS specializes in placing qualified K–12 personnel, including substitute teachers, aides, and school support staff, across nationwide districts. Dayton area recruiting supports ESS clients to ensure staffing continuity and educational quality.

The successful candidate will use proven recruiting methods, attend local career fairs, and build relationships with universities and professional organizations to attract diverse candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in recruitment or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Must interact well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience speaking in groups and meeting new people.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate is responsible for exercising a variety of strategies to recruit a high volume of talented and qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff to work with ESS clients within an assigned area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Apply proven methods to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.
• Attend and recruit at local community and university career fairs within the county, paid for by company.
• Provide accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and available positions.
• Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract a diverse group of candidates with a focus on college graduates and certified teachers.
• Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
• Work cooperatively with all members of the team.
• Complete special projects as needed.
• Regular, in-person attendance is required.

Qualifications
