Job summary

ESS Education is seeking a Substitute Support Specialist to provide operational and administrative support to the Operations team across school districts. You will coordinate substitute teacher and paraprofessional assignments, serve as the primary liaison with district staff, and maintain accurate employee records while ensuring timely responses and reliable service.

OVERVIEW: The Substitute Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support to the Operations team in assigned school districts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct and control the fulfillment of substitute teacher and paraprofessional assignments within assigned school districts.
• Serve as a liaison between school district administration and ESS staff, delivering excellent customer service and timely responses to emails, calls, and in-person inquiries.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records.
• Regular attendance in-office is required.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
