Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Clarks Summit, PA. This role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other essential roles to staff residential group homes with compassionate professionals.

You'll manage high-volume recruiting, build talent pipelines, partner with operational leaders, and ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding at Beacon.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of recruiting experience, and one to three years in HR/Management or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, organizational development, marketing, business, or similar.
• Healthcare or mental health background is a plus.
• Must pass criminal background check and have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for DSPs and other positions.
• Source qualified candidates via job boards, social media, community partnerships, employee referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone and virtual interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
• Extend employment offers and guide candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding process.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs for residential group homes.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals.
• Ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with employment laws, Joint Commission standards, and BSLS policies.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Represent Beacon at hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities.
• Promote Beacon's mission, culture, and employment brand to prospective candidates.

Position Summary

Education and Qualifications:

• Three to five years of recruiting experience, and one to three years of experience in the HR/Management field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred (in human resources, organizational development, marketing, business, or a similar field is preferred).
• A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
• Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
• Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Occasional evening andweekend hours maybe required tosupport hiring events, recruitment initiatives, or business needs.
