Confidential in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for its field workforce pipeline. You will source, screen, and place skilled tradespeople with client job sites while working closely with the sales team to ensure orders are filled quickly and with qualified candidates.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience in high-volume recruiting.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience required; background in staffing, HR, or client/customer relations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Comfortable using data to guide decisions and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting to build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified tradespeople.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates using standardized assessments, both virtually and in person.
• Fill client orders by matching tradespeople with proven safety and skill records to project needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and lead lists to track skill sets, interests, and availability.
• Drive retention through ongoing engagement, relationship-building, and utilization strategies.
• Partner closely with the sales team to align worker availability with client demand and support order fulfillment.
• Monitor project timelines and worker assignments, providing proactive updates on availability and project end dates.
• Ensure all candidates meet safety qualifications and maintain accurate safety and training records.
• Provide inside sales and client-facing support as needed.
