CalOptima Health seeks a Therapy Aide (Recreational) to support the PACE program in our day health center. You will help deliver therapeutic and recreational activities, coordinate social programs, and collaborate with the IDT to ensure high-quality participant care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience, CPR/First-Aid certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A bilingual candidate is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year experience with the frail or elderly within last 3 years.
• 1 year of experience with people with dementia.
• CPR and First-Aid certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide therapeutic and recreational support to PACE participants in the day health center.
• Coordinate and facilitate day center social programming and activities.
• Document activity services and report changes to the supervisor/IDT as appropriate.
• Assist with care plan assessments as needed.
• Complete other projects and duties as assigned.
