LIFEWAYS, INC is seeking a qualified Recreational Therapist to restore motor, social, and cognitive functioning and to educate patients on coping skills for community reintegration. Staff will oversee group activities and develop treatment plans within 24 hours of admission.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or related field or a Bachelor’s with CTRS, with licensure within 90 days. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

• CTRS certification preferred for bachelor’s path.

Responsabilités

• Conduce Activities Therapy Assessments within 24 hours of admission.
• Oversee group activities to ensure they are conducted by qualified staff.
• Initiate Behavioral Care Plan at discharge to subsequent levels of care.
• Maintain confidential files and reference resources for community services.
• Educate patients on coping skills and community integration.
• Maintain time management and meet deadlines under pressure.
