Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant for a full-time day shift. You will engage residents through recreation programs and events, helping to brighten daily life for seniors.

Responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director with program development, documentation, special events, and maintaining supplies, while collaborating with families and staff to foster a caring, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to relate professionally and positively to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing therapeutic recreation services and programs for residents.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.

Spring Creek is currently looking for full time Activities Assistants during dayshift! We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.

Requirements of the Activities Aide

• High School diploma or GED
