Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant for dayshift at our Harrisburg, PA location. If you are creative, outgoing and motivated to engage seniors in activities and events, apply today.

Primary duties include assisting the Activity Director in planning and implementing therapeutic recreation programs, documenting activities, and maintaining supplies. A High School diploma or GED is required, and a background check and drug screening will be completed.

• Relate professionally and positively to residents and families; work cooperatively with others.
• Wholehearted individual with interest in residents and recreation needs.
• Must complete post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in developing and implementing comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet residents' needs and interests.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leading special events, and maintain supplies and equipment.

Spring Creek is currently looking for full time Activities Assistants during dayshift! We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.

Requirements of the Activities Aide

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others
• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Activities Assistant

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
