Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to push/pull wheelchairs, stand for long periods and assist with decorations.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement activity plans for residents, including small groups and events, and adapt to individual needs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide escort as needed; maintain participation logs.
• Attend meetings and participate in educational programs and in-services as mandated.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required.
• Plan and accompany residents on outings.
• Follow universal precautions and MSDS guidelines.
• Review evaluations completed by Manager Recreation.
