Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Recreation Therapy Aide to support resident activities and group programs. You will help plan, lead, and coordinate recreational activities, transport residents to events, and maintain activity spaces with attention to resident well-being.

The role requires progressing responsibilities in a long-term care setting, good communication, and the ability to work with a diverse resident population.

Formación

• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED certification required.
• 1 year experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead recreation programs and activities for residents.
• Coordinate and transport residents to scheduled activities.
• Prepare and set up activity spaces and calendars.
• Document attendance and participation in activities.
• Assist in community trips and in resident care activities.
• Maintain a homelike, seasonal environment and ensure safety and quality standards.
