Zusammenfassung

Midwest Center for Youth and Families, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a compassionate Recreation Therapist to join our DBT-focused program for youths aged 10–18. The role involves conducting assessments, coordinating therapeutic recreation activities, and aligning with DBT programming.

Work hours are Monday–Friday from 10am to 6:30pm with rotating weekends. Located in Indiana, the center serves adolescents in a private residential setting with comprehensive benefits and career

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or degree equivalency from an accredited college/university is required.
• Licensed or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist required.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience in mental health settings preferred.

Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking caring and compassionate Recreation Therapist to join our team!

Available Hours: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm, rotating Saturday/Sunday

The Patriot Support Program at Midwest Center offers specialized treatment designed to address the behavioral health needs and challenges of the children of active-duty military, reserve, and national guard members.

Position Summary

Complete an assessment of the patient's condition, and formulate and implement individualized recreational goals. You will provide and coordinate therapuetic recreation programming, and manage cases in conjunction with the DBT programming model.
