Job summary

HHM Hospitality is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to engage guests and owners with a comprehensive program of activities. You will lead planned events, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety and quality across all recreational offerings.

You will manage youth and family activities, maintain equipment inventories, and collaborate with management on daily operations. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork, and adherence to HHM's EarthView sustainability guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Previous accounting experience or equivalent training required.
• Proficient in using Excel.
• Knowledge of PMS/accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned activities and create/plan social and sports programs.
• Entertain children with games, crafts, and outdoor activities.
• Maintain inventories of games, equipment, and supplies.
• Create attendant scheduling and backend paperwork.
• Ensure safety and address guest concerns with management guidance.
• Oversee time punches, scheduling, and billing; assist with incident reports.
• Perform minor maintenance and facility upkeep as needed.
• Adhere to sustainability guidelines and HHM EarthView program.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead planned activities. Must be able to create, plan, and facilitate social/sports activities effectively and professionally.
• Participate and entertain children of all ages with games, seasonal programs, or other approved activities, such as crafts, team building, and outdoor recreation.
• Maintain ongoing inventories of games, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and turned in as necessary.
• Create attendant scheduling.
• Consult with the Manager regarding any safety concerns, problems or questions.
• Conduct periodic meetings with employees, weekly frequency is preferred.
• Consult with the Manager on daily operations. Request resources needed to maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and members.
• Repair or replace equipment, always maintaining good condition. Perform minor maintenance on facilities and structures.
• Complete incident reports as needed and hand them in immediately.
• Oversee correct computer work; time punches, schedules, and billing
• Clean and organize bathrooms, office, and storage rooms.
• Pick up debris, rake sand, and organize lawn furniture to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Take proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns. Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plan.
• Always extend professionalism and courtesy to guests.
• Provide a high level of anticipatory service and interest in guests
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements
