GEO Group is hiring for a recreation program role focused on organizing and supervising recreational activities for detainees in a secure environment. You will coach teams, oversee tournaments, and ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
A high school diploma is required; advanced degrees in PE or recreational therapy are a plus, with prior inmate or correctional experience advantageous. Valid driver’s license is required, and you will maintain records and train staff weekly.

If you are a quality team player and truly love to see people succeed, then you are in the right place. This position requires only a high school diploma. However, a degree in Physical Education, Recreational Therapy, or any field related to that is highly desirable. Experience working with prisoner populations or in a physical education program is also an asset.
