Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions in Moore Haven, Florida, is seeking an individual to manage recreation activities and coach athletic teams. Your responsibilities include planning and organizing recreational activities, conducting competitions, and ensuring the well-being of detainees during these activities.

This position requires a high school diploma, with a preference for candidates with a degree in Physical Education or Recreational Therapy. Relevant experience with inmate populations is highly desirable. Join us and be part of a mission to provide impactful correctional services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Competencies Required

If you are a quality team player and truly love to see people succeed, then you are in the right place. This position requires only a high school diploma. However, a degree in Physical Education, Recreational Therapy, or any field related to that is highly desirable. Experience working with prisoner populations or in a physical education program is also an asset.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma required. Additional education in Physical Education, recreational therapy, or related field highly desirable.
• Prior experience working with an inmate population or in a physical education program is highly desirable.
