Job summary

Hilton’s Hotel del Coronado on Coronado Island seeks a Recreation Manager to oversee daily recreation operations, guest experiences, and programming across pools, activities, and events. The role drives guest satisfaction, budgeting, and team leadership in a historic 28-acre resort with extensive F&B offerings.

Leverage strong hospitality values, train staff, ensure safety standards, and deliver memorable experiences that define the stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel recreation operations and guest services.
• Ability to lead and train a diverse recreation team.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills.
• Event planning and program development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily recreation operations including guest experience, food and beverage offerings, marketing, reservations, systems, budgeting, and reporting.
• Lead engaging programs and activities (pool, water activities, tennis, children's programs, events).
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction; address concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Train, supervise, mentor staff; conduct evaluations and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations.
