Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a listed field or four years of supervisory recreation experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and implementation of indoor/outdoor recreation programs for youth and adults.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials for activities.
• Order equipment and supplies with director’s approval.
• Assist staff with activities and encourage appropriate behavior.
• Document incident reports for parents and Recreation Director.
• Delegate duties for organization of supplies, equipment, and light cleaning.
• Transport to and from events, outings and programs.
• Follow policy and procedures for use of vehicles for transportation of participants.
• Train and support staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Write and develop job performances, weekly staff meetings, and monthly safety meetings.
• Perform other related duties as deemed necessary; drive department vehicles as needed.
