Job summary

The City of Evans is seeking a Recreation Supervisor-Facility Rentals & Programs to oversee day camps, senior programs, facility rentals, and general recreation activities at the Evans Community Complex and Riverside Library & Cultural Center. The role manages part-time and seasonal staff, coordinates with schools and partners, and ensures state standards are met.

A Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field and 3 years of experience are required; Colorado driver’s license and CPR/First

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• 3 years of experience in recreation, leisure activities and facility scheduling.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, or ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and supervises state licensed camp, senior programs, facility rentals, and general recreation programs.
• Manages and supervises part-time and seasonal staff; coordinates special events for the community.
• Schedules facility bookings, coordinates with schools and facility staff, processes deposits and payments.
• Develops programs and maintains program revenue and attendance records.
