Job summary

Navylifesw is seeking a professional to manage a comprehensive, year-round recreation program within the Community Recreation Division of the MWR at CNIC. The role covers Parks, Picnic Areas, Outdoor Adventure Activities, Camping, RV Parks, ITT, recreation centers, bowling, and more, operating off Naval Base Coronado.

The candidate should bring experience in customer service or activity-based programming, strong communication skills, and the ability to build partnerships and manage facilities

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or activity-based programming.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of planning and conducting activities for diverse groups.
• Knowledge of community recreation programs and facilities.
• Ability to create and sustain partnerships via MWR agreements.
• Ability to maintain an accurate database.
• Ability to present to small and large groups.
• Knowledge of recreational events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the year-round recreation program and its facilities.
• Manage areas such as Parks, Picnic Areas, Outdoor Activities, Camping, RV Parks, ITT, Recreation Centers, Bowling, and related programs.
• Develop and sustain partnerships through MWR agreements.
• Coordinate communications with participants and groups, and maintain program records.
