Job summary

The Town of Silver City is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to assist in coordinating and implementing various recreational activities, events, and programs, including supervising part-time staff. This role will require effective communication with patrons and City departments to facilitate park rentals and related requests.

Qualifications

• Valid New Mexico Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• CPR and AED Certified preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• Combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating necessary knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and implementing recreation programs, events, and activities.
• Supervise part-time staff.
• Coordinate, schedule, and maintain City Park rentals and facility reservations.
