The Town of Avon, Colorado, is accepting applications for a Recreation - Program Instructor II Part -Time Year-Round
The Recreation Program Instructor II is responsible for supervising, providing instruction, implementing, and participating in age-appropriate activities for the Recreation Department’s afterschool, school’s out and/or Summer Camp programs. This position is a school-aged lead qualified position and can be summer camp seasonal or part-time year-round.

Program Instructor II requires a minimum age of 18 years old. Verifiable experience of at least three months full-time or equivalent part-time (460 contact hours), paid or volunteer experience working with school aged children (5-12 years old). Candidates that are close to obtaining these hours will be considered. Possession of a current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. A valid State of Colorado Driver’s License is required.The Town reserves the right to suspend or extend the posting deadline based on receipt of qualified candidates.
