City of Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Recreation Program Instructor to run indoor, outdoor, arts & crafts, and educational activities for youth ages 6-17. The instructor oversees facilities, maintains safety, and assists in leading recreation and education programs.
Responsibilities include organizing registrations, maintaining facilities, attending staff meetings, and coordinating activities with the supervisor.

Performs indoor, outdoor, arts & crafts, educational, low organized programs and activities for youth 6-17 years of age. Work involves overseeing and maintaining assigned facility, and park dealing with the general public, maintaining safety of members, public and staff, maintaining a high profile in the community, and supervising participants in recreation and education activities. May supervise work of others and serve as a lead worker providing direction to others.
Pursuing high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalency.
