The Recreation Program Assistant is responsible for supervising the set‑up/teardown of recreation activities, reservations and events. The Recreation Program Assistant position will assist with maintaining a safe and enjoyable facility environment, while serving as the first point of contact for patrons and access control for the facility. Providing excellent customer service and support to patrons by providing conflict resolution, information about Recreation programs, services, and facilities, is also expected of a Recreation Program Assistant. This role requires flexibility and a hands‑on attitude, as responsibilities may range from supervising events to handling last‑minute tasks that come up. Schedules can change week to week, so adaptability and a team‑oriented mindset are essential. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
