Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a part-time Recreation/Music Therapist Aide to assist our team with therapeutic and leisure activities for our state's heroes.

The position offers an hourly pay of $16.83 and requires 0–1 years of relevant experience along with a Missouri Class E driver license. You will help plan and execute activities, document progress, and support Veterans in activities that fit their abilities.

Qualifications

• 0 – 1 years of relevant experience.
• Current Missouri Class E driver license.

Responsabilités

• Learn and demonstrate basic methods and application of recreational, music, and other therapeutic activities.
• Make preparations/arrangements for and carry out activities, such as group outings.
• Provide resources and support to Veterans to enhance skills appropriate to their physical and cognitive ability.
• Document electronically activity attendance records, assessments, progress notes, and care plans.
• Drive bus or other state vehicles during day/night both in town and on highway.
• Lift and move Veterans as needed.
