Job Description

Manages all sponsorship activities and is responsible for membership recruitment, retention, marketing programs, sports, and events to the public. Serves as the managing lead over all special events. Provides oversight to program staff, camp counselors, contractors, and volunteer staff of approximately twenty (20). Receives general supervision from the Parks & Recreation Director. Schedule includes recreation center hours of operation, or as directed by supervisor; weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation or a related field
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a related position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification required or must obtain within 3 months from start date
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Communicator (CPC) and International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)
