City of Burleson is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to plan, oversee, and perform maintenance for recreation facilities including fitness and aquatics areas. You will supervise staff, manage contractors, and ensure safety, reliability, and high-quality spaces.
Responsibilities include coordinating setup for city events, maintaining building systems, and maintaining records and compliance across facilities. Requires CPO certification within 6 months and related maintenance expertise.
Plans, coordinates, oversees, and performs maintenance and repair activities for the recreation facilities including the fitness and aquatics areas and assigned assets to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while maintaining a high standard of appearance, functionality, and overall condition of equipment, amenities, and interior and exterior spaces. Supervises, prioritizes, assigns, and evaluates the work of assigned employees, as well as oversees and evaluates work of contractors and vendors responsible for facility maintenance services. Oversees and performs the maintenance of building systems, aquatics systems, fitness equipment, facility assets, and related infrastructure while managing preventative maintenance programs, maintenance contracts, inspections, testing, certifications, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance activities. Coordinates and performs the setup, breakdown, transportation, and proper storage of city and facility assets required to support city-sponsored events, recreation programs, and community activities.

Salary: $53619.54 - $80429.32 per year
