The Norman City Clerk's Office is seeking a part-time, non-exempt leader to assist in operating the concession department at Young Family Athletic Center. The role emphasizes administrative duties, staff coordination, cash handling, and safety compliance.
Candidates must be 18+, have at least one year in a leadership role, and hold a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with a clean driving record. In-house certifications in cash handling, food handling, CPR/First Aid are required.

Applicant must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a leadership role.
MustpossessavalidOklahomadriver'slicenseandsatisfactorydrivingrecord.CityofNorman Cash Handling Certification and Cleveland County Food Handler Certification. (These two training coursesare done in-house). CPR/AED/First Aid training.
Knowledge of staff management, food handling, safe food preparation,inventory management, riskmanagement,customerservice,andknowledgeinemergencyproceduresandfirstaidtreatment.
Oralcommunication skills.Interpersonalskillsnecessarytobecourteousoffellowemployeesandcustomerswhile performing duties. Ability to supervise and train staff, possess leadership skills, good decision making and organizational skills. Lead by example and have the ability to do physically and mentally demanding work.
Assist in the development, administration and operation of the Concession departmentatYoungFamilyAthleticCenter.Dutiesandresponsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto,ad-ministrativework,food ordering, staff scheduling, cash out, reports, special event planning, safety audits of the staff and equipment, staff in-service training and providing a safe and respectful workplace for all the other employees. Including the maintenance and cleaning oftheTimeoutCafe,assuringnecessarycustodialandmaintenancetasksarecompleted dailyandinatimelymanner. Performs other related duties as required.
Abilitytomaintainregular,predictableandpunctualattendance.Abilityto communicate effectively with public. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry light (upto25lb.)supplies,materials,andequipmentfrequently.Abilitytoliftandcarrymoderatelyheavy(25-50lb.)supplies, materials, and equipment occasionally. Work requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
