Job summary

The National Park Service is seeking a front-line, uniformed representative to assist visitors with questions and explain recreational opportunities within the park. You will handle cash transactions at a POS, issue entrance receipts, tickets, and permits, and perform opening/closing duties.

When not engaging visitors, you will inventory and restock fee program supplies and assist with requisitions. Submitting transcripts to support education is required; foreign education must be evaluated for

Qualifications

• Transcript submission is required to support education claimed for experience.
• Official transcripts may be required before start; unofficial copies are acceptable for initial review.
• Foreign education must be evaluated to be considered equivalent to U.S. education.

Responsibilities

• Answer visitor questions and explain recreational opportunities at the area.
• Operate a POS system to conduct financial transactions and issue receipts or permits.
• Perform opening/closing functions and assist with ticketing and fee program supplies.
