Job summary

Waukegan Park District seeks a part-time Recreation Facility Attendant to monitor and assist with the operation of the Field House, Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Center in Waukegan, IL.

You will open/close the facility, supervise rentals, ensure patron safety, handle cash and admissions, and help with programs and events while adhering to District policies.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Customer service experience for public programs.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patrons and rental groups.
• Handle admissions and payments; balance cash drawer.
• Open/close facility; set up and tear down equipment.
• Ensure safety and enforce facility policies.
• Assist with program and event setup and reporting.
