Job summary

Colonial Group in Temple, TX seeks a Facility Attendant to support recreational programs under supervision, ensuring equipment and facility cleanliness and supervising participants. The role requires flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include safety, cleaning, preparing courts, effective communication with the management team, basic office tasks, and assisting in events.

Qualifications

• Two years of high school completion required.
• Preferred: one year of related experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Food handler license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety and well-being of campers and program participants
• Cleans equipment, facility, spas, and saunas
• Prepares sport courts, tennis, reservable rooms, and basketball courts for daily play activities
• Communicates effectively with recreation management team
• Performs daily office tasks to include filing, sorting, and answering phones
• Assists in work events and special Parks and Recreation programs
• Serves meals and snacks to program participants as needed
• Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
