Job summary

Calvert County Government is seeking a frontline staff member to supervise the use of buildings and athletic fields for recreation programs. The role includes minor custodial duties, record-keeping, and assisting with skill evaluations across park locations.

You will interact with the public, ensure safety, and help coordinate facility use for sports activities. The position requires basic education (tenth grade), six months of public-facing experience, and CPR/First Aid certs are desirable.

Qualifications

• Completion of tenth grade.
• Six months experience working with the public.
• CPR and First Aid certificates are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proper use of facilities and maintain them in good condition.
• Maintain and prepare required records in an accurate and timely manner.
• Deal effectively with the public and school staff.
• Read, write and perform simple arithmetic.
• Serve as substitute scorekeeper at athletic programs, as needed.
• Staffs special events as required.
