Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Recreation Director to lead our activities department at our skilled nursing facility. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives through engaging and enriching recreational programs.

You will plan, organize, and oversee programs, supervise the activities team, coordinate events, and collaborate with nursing and other departments to support quality of life initiatives for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings as a Recreation/Activities Director.
• Ability to obtain State-required Activity Director certification.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resident-focused, warm and patient approach.

Responsibilities

Recreation Director Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Recreation Director or Activities Director in a long-term care setting
• Certified Activity Director (or able to obtain certification per state requirements)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
