Allaire Rehab & Nursing is seeking a Recreation Department Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging and meaningful activities on weekends. The role focuses on organizing group activities and providing personalized visits to meet individual interests, enhancing overall well-being and morale within a friendly, community-driven environment.

You will be part of a dedicated team that values leadership, compassion, and exceptional resident care, contributing to a warm workplace culture

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills demonstrated in resident interactions.
• Ability to lead small and large groups in a recreational setting.
• Comfort coordinating activities with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• To enhance the quality of life for residents according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• Leading group Activities and providing 1 on 1 visits utilizing interpersonal skills to meet resident needs and interests.
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents, co-workers, public.
