Town of Mead is seeking a Recreation Coordinator I/II to plan, coordinate, and deliver recreation programs for adults and older adults. The role requires on-site presence, with evening and weekend shifts, up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include on-site support, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and monitoring program budgets. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, with 1–2 years of experience in recreation or customer service.

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in recreation programs, events, or customer service preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of recreation programs, leagues, classes, camps, and community events for adults and older adults.
• Provide on-site support for programs and events, including setup, tear-down, participant assistance, and operational support.
• Assist with event logistics, including schedules, vendor coordination, supplies, permits, and basic facility coordination.
• Support recruitment, scheduling, and coordination of volunteers and recreation staff for programs and events.
• Track registrations, revenues, and expenses; monitor budgets and report variances.
