Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated swim instructor to develop programs tailored to each student’s ability, from infants to adults, on Fort Sill. You will promote skill advancement while teaching essential water safety and survival techniques. Collaboration with lifeguards ensures safety during lessons.

The role requires meeting security/background checks, completing health screenings, and potential CAC-related requirements, with flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends/holidays.

• Satisfactory completion of all required background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13. i. is required to include a health screening.

• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

Work experience related to the duties described above and possession (or in the process of obtaining) of the following certificates:

• Water Safety Instructor Certification
• Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• First Aid Certification (Certificates issue by American Red Cross, Ellis @ Associates, Star Guard or other nationally recognized agencies are acceptable)
• Highly desirable possession of a Lifeguard Certification
