Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of our patients and residents. You will plan, organize and implement engagement activities that meet physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

Effective communication, strong organization, and the ability to engage with patients, families, and staff are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and care.
• Effective communication with patients, residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents.
• Provide input into design of monthly recreation services.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
